Hello Child of God!

Its been a very long time now, and we heard so much about the entertainment industry, especially the music industry, on a local and international level. So much has been said about illuminati…Beyouncé, Jay-z, Rihanna, et al. Although I’m not a fan of any of these artistes, I’m not really surprised anyway, because every human is a spirit being, and we are all spiritually connected and influenced. If you’re not connected to and influenced by the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:14), then another spirit will move in.

I don’t want to focus on the people in darkness, rather, on those of us who claim to be of the light. We need to ‘Turn On The Lights ‘ – Matt. 5:14-16. According to that verse, when we ‘turn on the lights’, that is, let the light of God in us shine, people will see and experience more of the good things that are of God and give God praise – God’s name is glorified. This is what God wants us to do (1 Pet. 2:9).

Another thing is, you can never get rid of darkness by shouting and complaining and crying about it. If you’ve ever seen someone do that before in real life; got rid of darkness simply by complain or shouting ‘DARKNESS GO AWAY’,’THIS PLACE IS DARK’, please upload the video to youtube.com, okay! The only way to dispel darkness is to ‘Turn On The Light’, and this is because darkness cannot withstand light (John 1:5).

So what light are you meant to turn on?! The Light God has put in you (Matt. 5:14-16); of His Spirit, His love, His grace, His mercy, His anointing, His wisdom, His creativity, His glory, His ideas, etc.

Preachers have to stop taking after secular motivational speakers. Worship leaders and gospel artists have to stop taking after the secular artistes. We all need to depend more on the Holy Spirit and grow more in the wisdom, knowledge and understanding that springs out from the Word of God (Col. 3:16). This is the only way those dwelling in darkness can come to know the power of light, and the God of the light.

I pray for you and for myself and for every christian believer worldwide, for grace to walk closer with the Holy Spirit and grow more in the Word of God. And that God will open your eyes to see the light he has put in you, and for you to let your light shine brighter and brighter.

Child of God… “Turn On The Lights”

Shalom!
