You Don’t Need A Touch, what you need is to abide in Christ.

I can do all things through Christ, and can do nothing without Christ.

If I be in the body of Christ, which I am, why do I need a touch from God again? I’m already one with God in Christ. I already have what is more than a touch.

Jesus is the vine (John 15:5), I am a branch, the life in the vine is what flows in the branch. His life is flowing in me. I don’t need a touch, what he is giving me is more than a touch. He is giving me his supply of abundant life everyday. If I truly understand what he is giving me and I keep receiving it, I won’t be praying for a touch from him. He is already giving me his eternal abundant life.

You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
– John 8:31-32

We are free to the degree of truth that we know. The more we know the freedom, the authority, the blessings we have in Christ, the more we can receive them and enforce them and live them. Lack of knowledge is making us malfunction in this life.

That’s why reading the word of God, meditating on it, studying it, praying about it, confessing it, living by it, fellowship with the Holy Spirit, growing spiritually, are all personal responsibilities a believer has to live by.

Desiring and praying for a touch is not a sin, but it is based on a understanding of the woman with the issue of blood who touch Jesus and was healed. But as a believer in Jesus Christ who has his Spirit and his word living in you, He has given you so much more than a touch. He has given you a measure of himself, and that measure increases as you abide in His word and His word abides in you and you fellowship with His Spirit, the Holy Ghost.

So, abide in God’s word and let God’s word abide in you. Be one with the word of God in and out. Be one with Christ in and out.

Shalom!
